Landscapes full of Imagination
Of course, interesting pictures mainly depend on your local possibilities! When you live in an area where mountains and beautiful seashores are not so close, you need patience to capture something interesting in a landscape image.
But at least there is some potential to be discovered when you look at landscape images from the lowlands. Perhaps a foggy day where the highways simply end in thick fog is a good option, where bare trees on a country plot become more isolated to create a composition. Given the early morning and evening light, it could be quite practical during the golden hour. There are some discoveries in this section, even on flat land, you have to rise to the challenge, maybe with a bit of luck you can experience various seasonal outdoor events and even enjoy bad to worst weather - like on stormy autumn days.

Some Lost Places - Last as Trace
Lost places can be found right in the neighborhood to explore, a lost/abandoned past!
You can well express a nice atmosphere today.
These are often lost industrial sites, often in a certain more or less stable state - a historical/technical heritage - which are subject to continuous decay, in which a kind of local re-nature occurs
is taking place, has grown over the old buildings and weathering is very clearly active.
Access must be done with some caution, better not alone!
Decay is oon its way - nothing will forever stay.
Abandoned architecture and places may be quite a nightmarish world just because of the shadows and darkness, but it also carries great risks

Early Morning - Refreshing
If you live in Germany, but not on the coast, there are at least some days with fog where the difference between air temperature and dew point must be less than 2.5 °C (4.5 °F) to achieve the appropriate thickness produce fog in spring and especially in autumn. Then there is the possibility of isolating certain objects - and with a bit of luck even taking a few pictures with them
even heavily frosted trees – but the days/events are very rare. Sometimes “mystical atmospheres” can be captured – at least with a little imagination. Well, here you can discover something different than the usual local morning hours, which are only covered by soft morning lights. It could be a nice enrichment to face these days/look for opportunities and discover unexpected changes in the landscape.
Nightscapes for an Inspiration
Night photography – a living passion: images of cities, technical installations, natural areas, and the night sky. Reflections can also be integrated if available. It's a challenge: an invitation to experiment with nighttime encounters – sometimes it can be atmospheric (in lonely forests and moorland landscapes), sometimes eerie, like the night camp of a sleeping gang of thieves or a campsite with oversized wire cutters that was not currently occupied, the rest still in memory. Due to the long exposure time in nighttime landscape photography, the resulting image can be surprising – or at least much more unexpected than what one would normally expect to see with the naked eye. Focusing is often difficult, especially when using an old camera, but it's a beautiful dedication, a special passion – with certain surprises. I think night photography has a certain potential that can be further explored/discovered in very different locations that are worth investing time in.

Macros - in Depth to Explore
Macros are like immersing yourself in another world and trying to capture details on a very small scale, perhaps like tiny liquid droplets of morning dew or just ordinary raindrops, sometimes details can be visualized at water/air phase boundaries with beautiful reflections, at least I've tried to find out. It's a magnification of any outdoor event, a passion for potentially new benchmarks, to discover something very special, perhaps even unusual (like a salt precipitate in a supersaturated drop of salt water). In any case, it is a challenge to meet this challenge - to focus in such a way that these very small objects also include the back (by using internal reflection images)/
Or simply hide the background to create nice contrast in an image. It is undoubtedly challenging and offers some experimental potential, it is interesting, an outdoor enrichment - the macro space can provide an enjoyable, different insight into natural features, structures and living things.

Behind the Scene - just a Guy!
Still engaged on reservoir engineering and applied geo-sciences for gas and oil on exploration and production facilities: Was mainly used for gas storage. I worked in engineering for a few years and focused on: Well/field development, well testing, well interpretation, well logging (3-year logging analysis), reserve estimates (annual reports), field forecasting, production optimization and reservoir Management of self-owned and partner-operated assets. Special Interests: Tight Gas, Natural Fractured Deposits, Well testing, hydraulic well stimulation, simulation for Wells/fields (unfortunately more analytical than numerical) and not forgetting the “Tail End” optimization. Background: two master's degrees (M.Sc.) on the topic: Reservoir Engineering (*) & Mining Engineering (°). From: Technical University of Berlin (TUB*) and THGA Bochum (°) ..
Moor mystical Landscape
The International Nature Park Bourtanger Moor-Bargerveen is a nature park in the west (founded in 2006) of the German state of Lower Saxony and in the northeast of the Netherlands. It extends over parts of the Lower Saxony districts of Emsland and Grafschaft Bentheim as well as parts of the Dutch province of Drenthe and is characterized by sparsely populated moors, heathland, water areas and canals as well as agriculture, forests and peat mining. The moor is a unique, one could even almost describe it as an exotic habitat, here mainly in the Bourtanger Moor Nature Park. As the seasons change, the plain changes color: in May, the cottony-soft fruit heads of the cotton grass set off white highlights, and in August the broom and bell heaths shine purple (more pictures will follow as the seasons change). And countless dragonflies and butterflies in all colors shimmer in front of the dark mirror of the water. a truly fantastic landscape.
